VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading international professional services firm to recruit a Tax Accounting Associate Director to join their growing tax team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing practice working with multinational clients across Ireland and internationally, supporting complex global tax reporting and accounting requirements.


This role is particularly suited to a technically strong tax professional with experience in tax accounting, provisions and deferred tax, ideally gained working with multinational groups. Candidates may come from practice or industry, with strong exposure to global tax reporting frameworks such as US GAAP or IFRS.


The Role


This Associate Director position sits within a growing international tax team advising multinational organisations on complex tax accounting matters. The role will focus on supporting global tax reporting requirements, including provisions, deferred tax calculations and assisting clients navigating increasingly complex international tax environments.You will work closely with senior leadership and multinational clients, providing technical insight and supporting tax accounting processes across global operations.

What You Will Do


Advise multinational clients on complex tax accounting matters including tax provisions and deferred tax
Support corporate groups with global tax reporting requirements including US GAAP and IFRS frameworks
Work closely with multinational finance and tax teams to ensure accurate tax reporting
Provide technical insight on tax accounting implications of international tax developments
Support both compliance and advisory work across international tax engagements
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
Collaborate with partners and directors on complex multinational tax engagements
Support and mentor junior members of the tax team

Requirements


Strong experience in tax accounting including provisions and deferred tax
Experience working with multinational organisations or large corporate groups
Exposure to global reporting frameworks such as US GAAP or IFRS
Experience gained in practice or industry environments
Qualified ACA, ACCA or CTA (or equivalent) preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior client stakeholders
Ambition to develop within a growing international tax team
