Summary
VANRATH are partnering with a well-established organisation in Monaghan to recruit an in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role will support recruitment across the business, covering both industry-based roles and office-based (salaried) positions. It is ideal for a recruitment professional who enjoys acting as a strategic business partner, managing internal stakeholders, and delivering high-quality recruitment solutions for operationally critical and specialist roles within a diverse organisation.

What do you need?

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or in-house recruitment, with agency experience also considered
  • Strong experience managing full end-to-end recruitment processes in an internal environment
  • Experience recruiting for operational, technical, or office-based roles
  • Ability to understand roles that directly support operational performance and business planning
  • Confidence partnering with hiring managers to translate workforce requirements into effective hiring strategies
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple live vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced business

What you will do each day

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for internal vacancies, from briefing through to onboarding
  • Work closely with hiring managers to recruit for both industry and office-based roles aligned to operational and business needs
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, job boards, and professional networks
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to support immediate hiring needs and longer-term workforce planning
  • Provide recruitment insight and market guidance to stakeholders to support hiring decisions
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, and pre-employment checks in line with internal processes
  • Track recruitment activity and produce reports on vacancy status, timelines, and pipeline strength
  • Ensure recruitment activity complies with internal policies and employment legislation
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes, systems, and candidate experience
