T-SQL Database Developer

My Client are seeking a skilled Senior Database Developer to join their Product Development team in Belfast.

The company provides enterprise spend management solutions for businesses across various industries, including finance, healthcare, legal, and technology.

Their products include software for managing vendor contracts, market data, invoices, and procurement processes. Their solutions aim to help businesses reduce costs, increase efficiency, and gain better visibility into their spending.

You will collaborate with the Product Management and Product Development teams to develop enhancements and fixes.

Responsibilities:

* Developing new database code and enhancing existing code

* Testing, documenting, and optimizing the core product codebase

* Coaching team members and conducting code reviews

* Adhering to the full software development lifecycle

* Authoring technical documents, including design specs and release notes

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

* Proficiency in Transact-SQL ("T-SQL") in an MS SQL Server environment

* Experience in stored procedure and trigger programming

* Knowledge of shell scripting * Excellent communication skills, including cross-team interaction

* Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
