VANRATH are delighted to be representing a global manufacturing business with numerous facilities across the globe. Our client sells to a global industry now worth an estimated £2.4 trillion and show no signs of stopping as they continually develop their customer portfolio. This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours) with an earlier finish on a Friday!
The ideal person:
- Similar materials planning / supply chain experience
- Previous engineering experience / education
- Inventory management experience
- Ability to extract data on Excel
As the Supply Chain specialist, duties will include:
- Proposing alternatives and driving cost savings for replenishment.
- Reducing the level of stock through rationalisation and standardisation of key part families
- Ensure inventory levels of procured products supplied by designated suppliers adhere to company policy
- Finalise the development plan for the part along with the suppliers.
- Ensuring on time Part Development to meet the Project Schedule.
- Finalise the Part Cost by effective Negotiation with Suppliers
