VANRATH are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to revolutionise and streamline our clients supply chain systems and processes, with a specific focus on stock control.

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with suppliers
  • Manage supply chain, haulage lines, routes, companies that specialise in specific lines and/or routes for goods
  • Control the time and seasonality of goods, haulage times and routes taken, causing time at sea and/or on the road!
  • Implement a stock planning schedule, accounting for proposed stock reduction, due to sales, waste and/or damages.
  • Negotiate the best prices for purchasing items, negotiate the best haulage price for goods!
  • Develop new relationships for new product lines or and competitor suppliers, hauliers and save money by doing so
  • Help improve current stock management/ supply chain plan and implement minimum holding values and stock rotation.

The Ideal Person

  • Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain management
  • Experience within a warehouse environment
  • Third Level Qualification in Supply Chain related discipline
