VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major Distribution Company with the Recruitment of a Supply Chain & Customs Senior

Salary - €40,000 - €45,000

Hours - Mon-Thu-09:00 - 17:30 - Fri - 09:00 - 16:30

Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
-Analyse and forecast supply chain data to optimise inventory levels.
-Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to coordinate supply chain activities.
-Implement and maintain systems to track inventory and streamline supply chain processes.
-Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and implement solutions
-Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise
-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Essential Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import & export procedures, and trade compliance
  • Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative
  • Proven ability to prioritise objectives and duties
  • Excellent PC Skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-directing and proactive with a good work ethic
  • Problem solving, attention to detail and flexibility are essential skills
  • The ability to organise, plan and communicate is essential

Experience and Qualifications Essential: * Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

  • Third level relevant qualification - e.g. Diploma in Business and Finance
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems and Microsoft Excel is essential Desirable:
  • Relevant experience in an FMCG environment would be an advantage
  • Customs Qualification
