VANRATH are recruiting a Structural Engineer to assist in the design, analysis and construction of structures, primarily in the building sector.

Remuneration:
c£33,000 to £38,000 dependant upon skills and experience.

Client
Our client is a specialist infrastructure business operating across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK, including Water / Wastewater, Highways & Transportation, Building, Structural and Geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Undertake duties within the structures section.
• Aid in the design and assessment of Building structures.
• Assess whether structures can withstand various loads and pressures throughout construction process.
• Responsible for the preparation of structural schemes or specific elements of major improvements, including:

• Feasibility Studies
• Preliminary Design
• Detailed Design
• Preparation of Contract Documentation

• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations.

The Ideal Person

• Experience in the construction process of structures
• Third Level qualification in Structural Engineering or similar field of study.
• Excellent Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
• Knowledge of Building Regulations
