VANRATH are currently working with a global success story within a very competitive market, especially within Northern Ireland. Due to expansion, my client now has an opening for a Senior Buyer with strategic sourcing experience, to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Duties include:

• Escalation point for assisting site with overall management of Supplier relationship including emergency resourcing of problem parts for all commodities as needed
• Responsible for sending out tenders per the Approved Supplier List
• Manage Engineering Changes with the Fabrication Supply Base to meet deadlines
• Attend Make v Buy meeting and perform cost analysis of internal and external fabrications to facilitate make v buy decisions
• Updating costs in line with currency and steel indices movements for all contractual suppliers
• Assist Materials Manager with prep for contract or price negotiations and supplier performance reviews as needed.

About you:

• 3 year's in a similar position
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Strong negotiation
