The Ideal Person

The Staff Software Engineer will be passionate about software development and keen to use their technical and mentoring skills to help their development team to be successful. They should be comfortable working in agile teams, foster transparent communication, have a commitment to quality, and a focus on getting things done.

  • Experience building Enterprise grade software solutions
  • 6+ years' experience working with Java
  • FinTech/ Payments experience is desirable

As a Principal Java Engineer you will:

  • Lead the way in converting intricate functional and technical specifications into precise architecture and design.
  • Have a big impact on our strategy by contributing to the development of the upcoming generation of product features and system architecture.
  • Promote Agile to encourage change and ongoing development of the delivery process. * Make use of your astute design and coding abilities to produce on a large scale programmes that are used by millions of people worldwide. Take a hands-on role in influencing and guiding day-to-day development activities by leading architecture decisions, participating in designs, design review, code review, and implementation.
