My client is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to support a large managed service customer. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software. Working independently, you'll assess customer needs and troubleshoot complex infrastructure, platform, and integration issues. Staying updated with industry developments, you'll evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance our solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical architects to deploy cutting-edge technologies for our customers.
  • Gain expertise in large managed service platforms and potentially specialize in certain areas.
  • Work in a dedicated team, taking ownership of infrastructure and platform challenges.
  • Proactively share product knowledge and skills with customers during project engagements.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Address customer business requirements with effective and tailored solutions.
  • Accurately estimate effort required for project delivery and set customer expectations accordingly.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with virtualization technologies, e.g., VMware ESXi server platforms.
  • Familiarity with Blade Server (Synergy) hardware and data center management.
  • Knowledge of SAN solutions, especially HPE, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with backup services, notably CommVault.
  • Proficient in installing and configuring Windows Server platforms.
  • Strong understanding of general networking principles and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with formal project management and service delivery best practices.
