Certification Analyst - Payments Technology

Our client, an innovative leader in the payments technology sector, is looking for a Certification Analyst to support their growing certification team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about testing, payments technology, and delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle certification intake paperwork and ensure proper documentation.

  • Review and validate test cases for accuracy and compliance.

  • Develop automated and manual certification tests as needed.

  • Configure and manage payment terminals, mobile devices, applications, and SDKs.

  • Execute and record test results using certification tools and submit reports to processors and associations.

  • Track certification progress and provide regular updates to engineering and management.

  • Maintain and enhance certification systems and environments.

  • Apply creative problem-solving to overcome challenges and improve processes.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 2+ years' experience in certification, testing, or technical support.

  • Skilled in creating and executing detailed test plans.

  • Hands-on experience with REST web services (SOAP a plus).

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools (Postman, Selenium, Cucumber).

  • Strong understanding of payment processing and transaction types.

  • Basic networking knowledge for troubleshooting connectivity issues.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and desirable tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub.

  • Experience with EMV testing tools (UL, Viable) a significant advantage.

  • FinTech or payments industry experience preferred.

  • Strong communicator, proactive, and team-oriented.
