VANRATH are proud to be working with a leading digital product studio in the search for experienced Java Developers.
As a Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable software solutions that power innovative digital products used by well-known brands. You'll work closely with an experienced Head of Engineering and collaborate with talented peers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
This role offers the chance to make meaningful technical decisions, engage directly with clients, and shape the direction of key projects. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor others and continue developing your skills as part of a forward-thinking engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define technical designs and implementation plans.
- Provide technical input on user stories, estimation, and system design.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring across the development team.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Essential Criteria
- 4+ years' experience working with Java.
- 2+ years' hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Proven experience working with Microservices Architecture.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required.
