We are seeking a passionate Go Developer to be an integral part of this brand new entry to the Belfast market. In this role, you will primarily focus on developing and optimising their cutting-edge trading platform.

Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining and enhancing their trading algorithms, ensuring robustness, speed, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain the Golang-based trading platform ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and maintain a smooth DevOps workflow.
- Implement AWS containers to support Go implementation and robust repository maintenance.
- Utilise Kubernetes for streamlined application development, deployment, and scaling.
- Integrate our platform with React to provide a powerful user interface, ensuring seamless REST API access for our users.
- Stay updated with new Golang features, libraries, and best practices, ensuring our trading technology stays ahead of the curve.
- Work with the QA team to identify, prioritise, and fix any issues ensuring high-quality releases.
- Demonstrate proactive approach towards incorporating feedback and making iterative improvements.
Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Go programming with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on Go programming in Microservice focused environments
- Experience working with AWS/GCP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Go templating, frameworks, and tooling.
