Software Engineer (2-5 years)

Your new employer set up their Belfast operation in 2020 and have been growing organically since. They are currently hiring a brand new team due to an influx of new clients over the pandemic.

You'll be working with a modern tech stack (although you don't need experience with it all) including; Java 11/12, Kotlin, Docker, Kubernetes, React or Angular and you will get the chance to across multi cloud-AWS, GCP and Azure. There's a whole host of other projects in the pipeline, you'll be continually challenged and learning as part of a collaborative technology-driven team.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with a JVM language (Kotlin, Java, etc.)
  • Experience with SPA (Angular preferred)
  • Experience within a microservices / DevOps environment (Docker or Kubernetes)
  • Familiar with messaging systems, Kafka a bonus
  • TDD / BDD experience
  • Experience with one of the following GCP, AWS or Azure
  • Collaborative with good communication skills, comfortable with Pair Programming
