Skilled Bench Joiner (Workshop-based, Antrim)


CLIENT

A fantastic opportunity for a Skilled Bench Joiner to join our client's successful and growing joinery manufacturing team based in Antrim. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality bespoke joinery and woodwork solutions across commercial, residential, and architectural projects throughout Northern Ireland and beyond.
Working within a modern, well-equipped workshop, this is a great opportunity for a talented crafts person to join a professional team known for precision, quality, and attention to detail.

The Ideal Person

  • Time-served or qualified Bench Joiner / Joiner with proven workshop experience
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, joinery assembly, and finishing techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
  • Experience in bespoke or high-end joinery would be advantageous

Responsibilities


As a Bench Joiner, you will:

  • Manufacture and assemble high-quality timber components including doors, frames, furniture, staircases, and bespoke joinery items
  • Work from technical drawings to produce accurate, detailed joinery pieces
  • Operate woodworking machines, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Carry out finishing work to meet client specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Contribute to the overall performance and output of the workshop team

Remuneration

£16.00 - £19.00 per hour, depending on experience

Working hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
  • Overtime available
