An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and professional construction company delivering new build and fit-out projects across Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth and new project awards, several Site Manager positions are available in the Newry area. The business has a strong reputation for quality delivery, professionalism, and investment in its people.

The Ideal Person
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering new build and fit-out projects from start to finish. You will be a strong leader on site, capable of managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and driving projects to successful completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard, including:

  • Managing and motivating site teams and subcontractors

  • Coordinating labour, plant and materials

  • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme

  • Conducting risk assessments and enforcing safe working practices

  • Surveying sites to mitigate issues and check design viability

  • Providing accurate and professional site records, reports and progress updates

  • Liaising with engineers and senior management teams

  • Supporting contract negotiations in conjunction with direct and subcontract staff

  • Driving quality, programme and productivity on site

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build and fit-out projects

  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of the building industry

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team

  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

  • Track record of delivering projects from start to finish

  • Analytical and sound decision-making ability

  • Relevant third-party Health & Safety site management training

£50,000 DOE + attractive benefits package, including:
