VANRATH are recruiting a SHEQ Manger to work for a leading supplier of specialist electrical power, control and automation products, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
£50,000 - £60,000 + package

Client:
Our client is a leading supplier of electrical power, control and automation products that have been operating for half a century. The business is committed to both quality electrical supplies and industry-leading customer service and have established themselves as one the UK's fastest growing Power, Control and Automation technical distributors.

Over the years they have grown and have multiple branches across the UK, evolving within the industrial control and automation electrical market becoming a specialist supplier of electromechanical and automation products.

Overview of Role:
Due to continued growth the business have a great opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The successful person will ultimately be responsible for overseeing all SHEQ activities and writing governance policies, able to lead, advise on all health and safety matters.

The SHEQ Manager will be to deliver best practice and excellence through coaching and mentoring to maintain and develop a safety-first and continuous improvement culture.

This excellent opportunity is based in Belfast full time requiring occasional travel across the UK once or twice a month for a day or two at a time.

The Ideal Person:

  • Strong background in SHEQ roles
  • NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation
  • Ability to write governance documents
  • Experience and knowledge of Quality Standards such ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • Experience developing and implementing new training procedures
  • Good IT skills and competency
