Servicedesk Coordinator

Our client is currently looking for a committed Service Desk Coordinator to join their team and aid them in providing excellent service to their esteemed customers. Join a top tier IT Managed Services provider and become a valuable member of a team that is responsible for safeguarding all aspects of IT infrastructure, guaranteeing smooth operation for our wide-ranging customer base throughout both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming calls and queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Generating reports on outstanding jobs and other key metrics.
  • Assigning jobs and creating schedules for engineers.
  • Maintaining regular communication with engineers to manage their schedules.
  • Entering job details into our database.
  • Investigating and resolving issues and queries.
  • Providing support to our field engineering team when required

The ideal person will have:

  • A working or basic knowledge of IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent planning skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks for the support team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
  • Knowledge or previous use of a PSA/ticketing system would be an advantage, with experience in Autotask being particularly beneficial.
