Service Desk Analyst (Shift Based)

The Client
VANRATH are pleased to be working with one of the UK's top consulting and digital services businesses. As part of their Service Desk team, you will be working across a broad range of technologies to support their operations. The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing support for windows issues primarily.

The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for reviewing application logs and managing exchange/ O365 troubleshooting.


The Ideal Person

  • Previous experience in a 1st Line support role
  • Experience with VMWare
  • Shift work experience
  • Azure/ Unix experience is desirable


The Role

  • Provide 1st Line Support
  • Reviewing application logs
  • Handle incidents and requests (telephone, email, in person)
  • Manage Service Desk database in collaboration with other IT support teams
  • 3rd party vendor coordination and troubleshooting
  • Shift work: 4 days on 4 days off: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am shifts.
