As a senior technical consultant, coach, and escalation point, you will collaborate with prestigious global enterprise clients spanning the Financial, Pharma, and Public sectors in a role characterised by complexity, challenge, and big reward.

Main Responsibilities:

  • As a Technical Account Manager, you function as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for designated enterprise accounts' IT Infrastructure portfolios, encompassing steady-state service delivery and ongoing projects.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to provide necessary support to various teams including Service Delivery, PMO, Transitions, Product, Pre-sales, and Solutions, ensuring the implementation of optimal solutions for service excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Account teams and cross-functional groups to offer technical expertise and deliver managed services with excellence.
  • Take ownership of IT infrastructure portfolio service delivery both regionally and globally, covering areas such as Network, Servers, Storage, Security, Virtualization technologies, Data Centers, and Patch management & compliance.
  • Manage operational and contractual metrics, driving continual improvement projects and implementing innovative technological solutions.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure service excellence by leveraging knowledge of ITSM, SIAM, IaaS, and PaaS offerings, along with implementing ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for incidents and technical issues, owning Problem Management processes including root cause analysis, resolution, and change requests according to ITIL standards.
  • Escalate issues to resolver groups and partner technical teams for timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement tailored solutions aligned with client requirements.

Experience:

  • At least 10+ years of total experience, as a Technical Account Manager, IT Systems Administrator, Technical Consultant.
  • Latest 2+ years of proven experience as a technical account manager supporting similar enterprise clients, preferably with IT manged service provider.
  • Exposure & experience to ITSM, SIAM, IaaS, PaaS, ITSM application manged services portfolio.
  • Hand son experience with IT infrastructure portfolio service delivery regionally & globally with IT service provider.
  • Thorough knowledge of various IT Infrastructure hardware, software technologies, for example Network (LAN/WAN, AP, Routers, Switches, Network Racks), Server (Server Racks), Windows Server.
  • Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Citrix). Patch management & compliance.
  • Data Centres Operations support (On-prem, public cloud, hybrid cloud).

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors - (Computer science / IT/ Engineering)
  • ITIL V3/V4 Foundation
  • Experience in supporting VMWare, Citrix Virtualization Technologies
  • Experience in supporting Windows Server (Active Directory, MS Exchange, O365), Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Citrix), MS - (Azure, Intune, Defender)
  • Experience in supporting Data Centre operations (On Premise, Public, Hybrid) requests, incidents, h/w upgrades, host/rack level decommission, etc
  • Experience in supporting Networks (LAN/WAN, AP, Routers, Switches)
  • Exposure to Lean & Six Sigma, PMP methodologies
