I am currently recruiting for one of the first crypto teams to be set up in Belfast. This employer set up in Belfast around 2 years ago and has been building ever since. They have hired some of the most talented engineers on the market and due to the impressive Engineers, they have already hired they are keen to build one of Belfast first crypto teams. Roles like this only come up once every 5 years, you will have the opportunity to do engineering at scale while building something new.

You'll work across the full development life cycle, take ownership and see the results of your work quickly. There's a modern technology stack with including AWS / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes on the infrastructure side with GO on the back end and React on the front end; you're focus will be on GO but you can cross train from core Java development, however you will gain exposure to other areas of the stack, particularly AWS and Kafka


About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be a senior member of the team and you will be instrumental in the design and delivery of key business applications and solutions. You will have input in architecture decision making within the team and you will ensure we build scalable, performant, easy to maintain and cost optimised solutions. You will be joining a team of talented, collaborative engineers eager to grow and deliver. You will shine as a mentor to the team, providing technical insight and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Java or GO development experience
  • Engineering systems/applications at scale
  • Container based solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes
  • Continuous integration and deployment tools
