Senior Software Engineer (£65k, Fully remote, Belfast)

The ideal person

  • The ability to work well with others, including technical colleagues, product managers, and outside teams, is crucial for this position.
  • Someone with knowledge of creating RESTful services and APIs as well as UI functionality
  • C# and.NET experience; knowledge of React, HTML5, and CSS
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure); and then experience with software development across the stack, including JavaScript, Node.js, and other technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Use business analysts to interpret the requirements for a business mission or epic.
  • Offer technical advice on the specifications and give an estimation for the tasks and user stories.
  • Develop technological requirements.
  • Take ownership of your stories; create and test features in line with the requirements.
  • Refactor design and implementation for owned stories in light of required changes.
  • Create and sustain coding standards, and help team members follow them.
  • Mentoring and coaching young engineers
