The successful candidate will wield significant influence in shaping the role as well as the QS, Estimating and procurement teams in the future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with senior directors on multiple projects and divisions (Civils, Public Sector and Private Buildings).
  • Monthly cost/value reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash collection.
  • Manage several projects at different stages at any one time.
  • Provide accounts department with monthly cost/valuation information for costing purposes and quarterly for management accounts within the required time scales.
  • Advice to management on contractual matters.
  • Measurement and agreement of Project Final Accounts.
  • Ensure records and paperwork are accurate and up to date.

What we're looking for:

  • Project management experience very desirable.
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience, consultancy preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in interpreting drawings, coupled with a keen eye for specialist details.
  • Sound understanding of contract documentation and associated risks.
  • Efficient use of QS software
  • Demonstrated experience or degree.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
