About the Role:

As Project Manager, you'll be at the helm of key engineering projects-overseeing everything from initial design through to commissioning. You'll play a strategic role in managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full life cycle of multiple engineering projects, from planning through to final commissioning

  • Manage project budgets and ensure capital spend is aligned with company objectives

  • Coordinate and lead internal teams and external contractors across engineering disciplines

  • Act as the technical lead, particularly in water-related infrastructure projects

  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications, project deliverables, and client expectations

  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery

  • Represent the company during site visits, contract negotiations, and progress meetings

  • Work closely with the SHEQ team to maintain high safety and compliance standards

  • Prepare and enforce risk assessments, method statements, and other H&S documentation

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree or qualification in Engineering or a related field

  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-discipline projects to successful outcomes

  • Familiarity with H&S legislation, risk assessments, and HAZOP procedures

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify project opportunities

  • Comfortable working independently and on-site across remote locations

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of water infrastructure project delivery or upgrade programmes

  • Experience within the water or waste water treatment sector
