The Role


As a Senior Project Engineer, you will design, implement, and deliver IT infrastructure projects aligned with industry best practice. You will work across enterprise environments, cloud platforms, and data centre infrastructure, while also supporting BAU troubleshooting and escalations.
Your responsibilities will include:


  • Designing and deploying enterprise infrastructure solutions (Microsoft, VMware, Hyper-V, Fortinet, Veeam technologies)

  • Implementing clustered virtualisation platforms supporting high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BC)

  • Managing Active Directory environments across multi-site infrastructures

  • Administering Microsoft 365 environments including email security and MFA

  • Configuring and deploying networking equipment including firewalls, switches, routers, storage, and Wi-Fi

  • Supporting and maintaining cloud datacentre platforms

  • Installing and configuring vendor hardware within customer environments

  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing senior-level escalation support

  • Managing documentation, reporting, and time tracking for project delivery

The Person


  • Proven experience in a senior technical delivery or operations role within an IT services or managed services environment

  • Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server environments

  • Advanced experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation platforms

  • Experience with Fortinet technologies in data centre environments

  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end

  • Strong client engagement and stakeholder communication skills

  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Relevant technical certifications desirable
