Power BI Developer

My client, a a national consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join their technology group and be a key member in reporting and visualisation of essential data. This role is 95% remote and will require 2/3 days per month in the Dublin office.

Requirements:

  • Power BI requirements analysis, business acumen, data storytelling, report UI & design, report visualisation SME, Power BI custom visuals especially KPIs
  • Data modelling in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, Power BI Dataflows, data integration (managing data from other sources into PBI (SQL, Azure SQL, SPT lists, other))
  • Coaching affinity & acumen

Desirables:

  • Power BI data model performance optimisation
  • Power Platform integration (eg Power App embedded into Power BI for data write back)
  • Row and role-level security
  • SQL basics & Azure data stack
  • MS Fabric
