VANRATH are partnering with a local organisation to recruit a Senior People Partner to join their HR Operations Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping HR strategies and drive transformational change across the organisation.
About the Role
As a Senior People Partner, you will support the development and implementation of operational HR strategies that align with organisational objectives. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to provide proactive, value-added HR solutions and influence operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development and Business/People Partnering:
    • Contribute to strategic planning and operational decision making.
    • Translate business needs into HR performance objectives.
    • Support strategic workforce planning, performance management, and data analytics.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Lead consultations and negotiations in employee relations matters.
    • Manage complex ER cases and maintain positive employee relations.
  • HR Solutions Implementation:
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure proactive HR support.
    • Continuously improve HR policies and practices.
    • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Change Management:
    • Manage and support cultural change programs.
    • Partner with senior management to initiate and deliver strategic changes.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant Senior HR experience in a large, complex organisation.
  • Extensive experience in a unionised environment, strategic workforce planning, and managing complex ER cases.
  • Proven experience in leading change projects and utilising data analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Membership of CIPD.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or construction sectors.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and changes in terms & conditions.
