VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large and well-known Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Senior Marketing Communications and PR Manager to join their team based in Belfast.
Salary
£60,000 per year.
The Senior Marketing Communications and PR Officer will lead and manage the organisation's marketing, communications, and PR strategies. This role ensures consistent messaging across all channels to enhance the public profile, engage stakeholders, and manage media relations and crisis communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Communications Strategy: Develop and implement communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Media & PR Management: Act as primary media contact, preparing press releases, statements, and interviews. Build relationships with media outlets.
- Digital Strategy: Oversee social media, website, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor and analyse performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure effective communication.
- Leadership: Manage and mentor the communications team.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing/PR role.
- Strong media relations and digital marketing expertise.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Public sector experience and understanding of Government communications.
