Senior IT Executive Manager (TSE Team)

Job Description


My client, a professional services firm with a Belfast office, is looking for a Senior IT Executive Manager to join their new transaction strategy and execution team.

You will be part of a team that advises corporate and private equity firms on IT and operations when they acquire, divest, or restructure businesses. The team consists of advisors, operations, and IT professionals with industry, advisory, and audit experience.

As a Senior Executive on our Transaction Strategy Executive team, you would assist in business origination activities, such as pitches and presentations and client meetings to help sell work. You would also work in a transaction environment that required you to meet strict Merger & Acquisitions deadlines and requirements, and you would be accustomed to working in a sizeable consulting environment or industry role. As a consultant, you would work on initiatives involving IT transformation, big data, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Gain experience in a variety of engagement types, such as pre-deal (such as operational and IT due diligence, carve-out planning), post-deal (such as integration planning, tracking), and restructuring (e.g rapid cost reduction).
* Lead meetings with key client stakeholders to advise, shape, and drive the strategy and planning for integration, carve-out / separation, and operational restructuring. These teams will consist of colleagues from our transactional and consulting businesses.
* Participate in the management of each engagement, including risk and advertisements.
* Participate in our practise development programmes, helping to maintain the spotlight on our team as a fantastic place to work.
*Along with the duties of recruitment and training, you would serve as a mentor and promote the development of junior team members.
* Have experience working in a large-scale consultancy environment or an industry position where you can demonstrate your capacity to quickly do analysis, summarise findings, and offer management insights and actions.

To qualify for the role, you must have the following:
With your extensive knowledge of various IT systems, you'll be a dependable business consultant for our clients and carefully attend to their demands. Your track record of success in project management and stakeholder management will be essential to the position. This position is suited you if you're prepared to handle a variety of duties and are dedicated to looking for innovative methods to change the world.

  • Third level degree/Qualification in an IT related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience of working in a professional services/ consulting experience
  • A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors
  • Experience in building strong working relationships with Senior clients and key decision makers
  • In addition to recruitment and training responsibilities, you would serve as a role model and support the development of junior team members
