As a Senior Integrations Engineer, you will have a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing API integrations and solutions to enhance the efficiency of our payment processing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of API integrations, ensuring smooth and efficient data exchange across various systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and understand integration needs.
  • Evaluate existing systems to identify areas for integration improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications, API guides, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and bugs in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to API integrations and programming languages, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Integrations Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on API integrations.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive knowledge of API design and development principles, including REST and SOAP.
  • Solid understanding of web services and data formats like JSON and XML.
  • Experience with integration platforms, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems and protocols is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
