Senior HR Officer - 12 Month Maternity Cover
Based in Ballymena | Hospitality Sector
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) + Completion Bonus
Full-Time | On-site
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior HR Officer to join a forward-thinking and people-centric HR team on a 12-month maternity cover basis. The Role:
As Senior HR Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a proactive HR service across the business. Working alongside a close-knit team of dedicated HR professionals, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with employee documentation and right-to-work checks
  • Support training plan delivery and employee development structures
  • Partner with Payroll, H&S, and department leads to address HR-related issues
  • Lead or support workplace investigations in line with best practice
  • Contribute to strategic HR initiatives alongside the Associate HR Director
  • Offer expert advice on policies, performance, absence management, and employee engagement
  • Uphold high standards in HR compliance, data protection (GDPR), and reporting
  • Act as the key HR contact during the absence of the Associate HR Director


What We're Looking For:
Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and support line managers
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards), or 5+ years in a fast-paced generalist role
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
