Job Description

Job Title: Senior HR Advisor (VANRATH Exclusive)
Location: Belfast
Duration: Part Time / Permanent (25-30hrs Per Week)
Salary: 35k pro rata


VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with our highly-valued client as they search for an exceptional HR Advisor to join their HR function.


You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting and chairing employment investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • General day to day administrative duties
  • Lead various change management initiatives across the company and communicate any organisational change to the practice areas as appropriate
  • Oversight of recruitment and selection
  • Responsible for being aware of and updating any changes to HR policies
  • Providing HR advice and support on policies and procedures, sicknesses, absences, grievances, maternity, flexible working, employment law and best practice


About You

  • CIPD qualified or Third Level qualification in a HR/Business related discipline
  • HR Generalist experience
  • Full driving licence and access to a form of transport
  • Confident with the ability to advise and make decisions
  • Proven track record of leading a range of investigation/disciplinary meetings
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
