VANRATH are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business based in Cookstown who require a Senior Group Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month contract. This is fantastic opportunity to join a business who operate on a global scale. Renowned for providing their employees with the opportunity for development and progression, this initial interim contract has the potential to become a longer-term contract.

The Ideal Person

If you are a commercially minded Accountant and keen to take on a challenging role;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), minimum 3 years PQE
• Technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel
• Comfortable presenting financial information to senior management
• Good commercial awareness

Responsibilities

As a Senior Group Accountant, you will:

• Engage regularly with all commercial aspects of the business to provide comprehensive, proactive and value-added finance support to other departments
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts for all entities
• Compilation and presentation of monthly board report to Senior Management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Review and validation of finance team members
• Coordination of grants
• Management of Transactional teams
