About you:
- Proven experience in construction estimating or related commercial roles
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost planning, and contract types used within the UK and Irish markets
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; estimating software experience is an advantage
What you'll do:
- Lead the preparation of detailed, competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for high-value projects
- Coordinate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate pricing and scope data
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure comprehensive scope capture and identify value engineering opportunities
- Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Support bid strategies, risk assessments, and post-tender reviews to optimise project wins and outcomes
