About you:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or related commercial roles
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost planning, and contract types used within the UK and Irish markets
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; estimating software experience is an advantage

What you'll do:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed, competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for high-value projects
  • Coordinate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate pricing and scope data
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure comprehensive scope capture and identify value engineering opportunities
  • Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Support bid strategies, risk assessments, and post-tender reviews to optimise project wins and outcomes
