VANRATH are delighted to be representing our client, a specialist contractor based close to Antrim. Due to expansion, our client have identified a need for a Senior Estimator or QS to join their growing business on full-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for the accurate estimation of costs and the preparation of tender documentation for submission to potential clients.

(Mon-Fri) with a 1 pm Friday finish! Also on offer is a 5% employer pension contribution.

Experience needed:

• Working knowledge of 'Logikal'
• Understanding of or previous working experience in curtain walling
• Confidence in communicating directly with clients

Duties for this role will include:

• Maintaining relationships with present customers and to attempt to renew relationships with previous customers
• Reviewing of tender documents received from the client to ensure requirements are understood and prepare a detailed estimate & financial model for review with internal management.
• Executing the estimating process from sending enquiries, to getting departmental input, to providing the handover presentation on contract award.
• Coordinating the preparation and presentation of bids in a completed tender document to ensure all documentation is presented in time and in an orderly fashion for the approval of the SMT & Managing Director.
• Ensuring tender submission is in line with relevant standards / regulations and project specification.
• Assisting the project team on start-up phase with major item requisitions and order planning when required.
