Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A primary degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline

  • Knowledge and practical experience of environmental/PPC permitting and consent requirements

  • Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

  • Hands-on experience in environmental and EMS auditing or inspections

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar environmental advisory role


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), supporting Environmental Working Groups (EWGs) and the wider organisation

  • Ensure compliance with PPC permits, discharge consents, and other environmental regulations

  • Oversee and coordinate waste management activities across sites

  • Evaluate potential environmental impacts of site and contractor operations

  • Identify, recommend, and implement solutions to maintain compliance and improve environmental performance (e.g., waste, water, air, energy)

  • Maintain accurate systems to track environmental performance metrics such as waste, VOCs, air emissions, and water usage

  • Prepare professional reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage and monitor contractor environmental compliance and evaluations
