Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/kubernetes)

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a company that has been growing year on year in NI for over 10+ years. They are growing their cloud/DevOps department and are looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/kubernetes) to help run and lead projects. The role can be remote and the culture is relaxed and you are treated like an Adult with no micro management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Senior DevOps engineer:
- Strong Technical knowledge around the IT Infrastructure and building and creating pipelines.
- Be the initial hire in Belfast to set the DevOps culture within the organisation
- Ideally have knowledge within the financial services sector.
- Be able to work closely with developers in order to streamlining releases
- To keep abreast of industry best practises and technology and where appropriate to champion these throughout the organisation
- Mentoring and motivating team members
Great experience across Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
The Ideal Person:
The ideal person will have an in-depth knowledge around DevOps practices, how to set up and automate pipelines and be able to work closely with developers to streamline processes. The ideal person would have experience around the financial services side of things (although not a necessity) and really be able to help implement a DevOps culture in an organization whilst also taking a hands on approach. The company has built up one of the best development teams in Belfast and so communication is key to the role to be able to build rapport and work closely with team members.
Remuneration
Salary for the role is flexible depending on levels of experience but would be between 80-100k. They have other great benefits including a great pension contribution, private medical and dental and a great internal atmosphere.
