The role
- Work through the back log of project items & log time for each project item
- Investigate problems and see them through to suitable resolution
- Enhance current feature sets
- Confidently present ideas for system improvements to the team and work with them to see if this idea can become reality
- Work closely with analysts, designers and operations team members to ensure any developments are fit for purpose and appropriate for the end user
- Use JIRA for all project work items
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in enterprise development
- Willing to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies as and when they become available
- Demonstrably knowledgeable of both Visual Basic and C#
- Demonstrably knowledgeable of SQL and TSQL
- Experienced with .Net frameworks
- Knowledgeable of Object orientated development
- Knowledgeable of IIS
- Experienced with Azure Development/Deployments & Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- Experienced using JQuery or other javascript frameworks
- Experienced developing with MVC2
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a highly successful development team
