Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Vanrath are recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer to join our client who have over 25 years' experience in the design and manufacture of a range of equipment which is used across heavy engineering industries.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will play a key role in the business by developing and designing new products as well as
- Manage design projects and develop new products
- Manage projects through from concept, design, support build and to installation
- Co-ordinate with colleagues to support the sales team with technical specifications, site visits and technical advice throughout the process
- Produce project status reports and other information as required
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Work on and oversee multiple projects at any one time
- Develop and train Design Engineers in design office processes and procedures.
We are looking for
- 10 years Design experience gained within a manufacturing environment
OR
- Educated to degree in engineering discipline with 4+ years design experience
- Experience with CAD Design
- Product development experience
Working hours will be Monday - Friday days, start/finish time is flexible (40.5 hours per week) and in return you will receive a strong salary/benefits package depending on experience.
