Senior Design Engineer | Dungannon | £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced Design Engineer looking to join a close-knit team where your ideas will genuinely make an impact? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing local manufacturer of screening, recycling, and material handling equipment.
As a Senior Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in taking products from concept to completion. You'll work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to develop innovative machinery using leading CAD tools - all within a supportive and agile environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the design and development of machinery using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Producing detailed technical drawings and documentation for manufacture
- Collaborating with production and sales to bring concepts to life
- Supporting continuous improvement of existing products
- Ensuring designs meet relevant compliance and safety standards
What You'll Need:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
- Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing methods
- Practical problem-solving ability and good communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Industry experience in recycling, screening, or heavy equipment
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and CE/UKCA marking
