Job Title: Senior Conveyancing Solicitor

Location: Ballymoney (Hybrid working available)

Position: Senior Solicitor (Residential Conveyancing)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy and well‑regarded property team serving clients across County Antrim and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering high‑quality residential property work, providing expert legal advice, and ensuring excellent client outcomes on a range of conveyancing matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with legal requirements.

  • Advise clients on all aspects of sales and purchases, including leasehold, shared ownership, new builds, remortgages, transfers of equity, and joint ownership transactions.

  • Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, reports on title and other legal documents.

  • Conduct detailed due diligence including searches, title checks and examination of legal documentation.

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other legal professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.

  • Keep clients regularly informed of progress and proactively address issues or delays.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, risk management procedures, and firm protocols.

  • Mentor and support junior members of the conveyancing team where applicable.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant PQE in residential conveyancing.

  • Strong technical legal knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process.

  • Proven track record of managing complex property transactions efficiently and effectively.
