Senior Construction Project Manager (Consultancy)
CLIENT
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join an expanding consultancy team in Belfast. As the Belfast office continues to grow, the team is delivering major construction projects across the UK and Ireland. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile public sector schemes alongside senior construction professionals with extensive industry expertise.
The consultancy delivers market-leading professional services across Cost Management, Project Management and Building Surveying. As an independent consultancy, they partner with owners, occupiers, developers and funders across both the private and public sectors.
The Ideal Person
A construction-related degree with ideally Chartered status, together with significant project delivery experience within a consultancy or client-side environment. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership capability and a proven track record of delivering high-value projects from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will play a leading role in overseeing and managing large-scale projects across the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion
- Leading project delivery and supporting key decision-making processes
- Managing and mentoring junior team members while reporting to senior management
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams in a client-facing role
- Producing high-quality reports and project documentation
- Carrying out contract administration duties (JCT/NEC etc.)
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience within the construction sector
- Proven experience in a similar Senior Project Management role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Established capability in report writing
- Proficiency in MS Project (or similar software)
- Demonstrated track record delivering high-value construction schemes
Remuneration
£55,000 - £70,000 DOE + excellent benefits package (dependent on experience)
