Senior Cloud Ops

I am delighted to be working with one of our key clients again in looking for a Senior Cloud Ops engineer. The company is a leader in their space with definite room to grow your technical skills whilst also being a hands on Manager. The company is currently working remote and don't currently have any plans to return back to the office. Once they do they would want to person to be in the office 3 or 4 days a week to build rapport with the team and attend leadership and strategy meeting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Senior Cloud Ops Engineer

- Help manage the team whilst leading by example

- Help automate pipeline using automation tools such as Jenkins.

- Interact with partners across different locations to build and transfer expertise.

- Support and spin up new environments in AWS

The Ideal Person:

  • 3+ Years experience working with AWS
  • Experience managing team members
  • Experience with technologies including Jenkins, Terraform, Python and GIT.
  • Experience with one of the configuration tools (chef, salt or puppet)
  • CI/CD pipeline experience is essential
  • Great communication
  • Positive attitude that can motivate and lead a team.

Remuneration

Salary for the role is flexible depending on levels of experience but would be between 65-80k for the right candidate along with great benefits and a relaxed office culture.
