Are you a Chartered Civil Engineer? Possess extensive experience working on Marine/Heavy civil projects? Interested in working for one of the fastest growing civil and structural engineering consultants in Northern Ireland?


VANRATH are recruiting a Chartered Civil Engineer to take up a Senior role within their rapidly expanding Marine/Heavy Civil team. Successful candidates will bring their experience and leadership to a progressive team to work on a conveyor belt of multi-million pound projects.

Remuneration:
c£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits

Continued growth and reputation has provided opportunities for them to take on a large portfolio of new projects and thus the requirement to expand their team has arisen.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take a senior role on a variety of Marine/Heavy civil engineering projects.
  • Contribute to the design process of marine structures and associated infrastructure in commercial ports and fishing harbours.
  • Supervise technicians in preparation of detailed scheme drawings.
  • Manage Heavy civil engineering projects, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance elements.
  • Prepare project-specific technical documentation, including drawings and specifications for review.
  • Liaise closely with client/s throughout projects to ensure requirements are met and expectations effectively managed.
  • Adhere to and inspire adherence to relevant Health and Safety protocols.
  • Other general civil engineering skills may be utilised as required



The Ideal Person:

  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • Achieved Chartered Status
  • 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience
  • 2+ years experience on Marine/Heavy civil projects
  • Presentable civil engineering portfolio
  • Ability to travel to sites across NI and ROI when required.
