Senior Software Engineer (£50k)
The ideal person

  • Experience developing dependable, effective applications and microservices for at least five years
  • Confidence and track record of success in front-end, back-end, and even database development.
  • Expertise and depth in at least one area of software engineering (networking, security, serverless, event streams, etc..)
  • The desire to create stunning, user-friendly products.
  • A natural drive to study and share knowledge.
  • Compassion for your coworkers and customers.
  • A willingness to express your own thoughts while being receptive to those of others.
  • .NET Framework working experience.
  • C# and MVC experience, but self-describes as polyglot.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript frameworks

  • Develop and maintain large-scale multi-tenant cloud systems using a breadth and depth of knowledge.
  • Recognize, examine, and fix performance, availability, and reliability problems with the system.
  • Participate in teams as a technical expert on best practises and industry standards to assist others in resolving challenging issues.
  • Produce high-quality code (i.e., code that is dependable, readable, efficient, and testable), high-quality code reviews, thorough tests, and high-quality documentation.
  • Design, develop, and take the helm in leading teams to solve challenging issues.
  • Create solutions that are future-proof and fill architectural gaps.
