Senior Buyer/Purchasing Lead

VANRATH are excited to be working alongside a reputable distributor in the Dungannon area, that now has a full-time permanent position for a Senior Buyer/Purchasing Team Lead. This is a 37.5 hour week with flexibility on working hours.
The ideal person
- 2-3 year's in a similar role
- Experience within an Engineering company is advantageous
- Clear and confident communicator with strong negotiation
- Willing to challenge existing policy to bring forward improvements
As a Purchasing Lead, you will:
- Oversee supplier performance and delivery
- Source goods and materials from a global supplier base
- Liaise heavily with sales department to ensure most cost-effective products are sourced
- Identify/source new suppliers when necessary
- Undertake analysis on stock levels, product quality, customer trends
- Manage shipments and other logistical duties i.e., shipping, customs paperwork and carriers.
