Senior Manufacturing Buyer
£36,000 - £42,000

VANRATH are delighted to be representing one of NI's most reputable and well-known brands, that continues to excel with their in-demand products being sold globally. There is now a an opening for a Senor Buyer from a manufacturing background. This is a full-time permanent position with a lovely early Friday finish!
The ideal person:
- Three years in a similar role
- Degree level education
- Manufacturing background
As the Senior Buyer, duties will include:
- Populate ERP with the price, lead-time and supplier details as necessary.
- To manage the engineering process, to purchase new parts and ensure the suppliers are supplying to the correct revisions of drawings.
- Source new suppliers for items within the allocated commodities.
- Discuss with suppliers to achieve optimum batch sizes and hence reduce costs.
- To analyse the cost of manufacture of parts considering the cost of raw materials, labour costs, machining costs to ensure the company is getting value for money from the subcontracting supply base.
