About you

  • Previous experience in Procurement or Buyer role with knowledge negotiating price with suppliers.
  • Develop long lasting relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Be a clear communicator both externally, and internally with sales, finance, and accounts departments.
  • Strong IT skills: MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Valid UK Driver's License.

What you'll do

  • Negotiate with suppliers on value as well as price to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff on controls for incoming deliveries.
  • Conduct data analysis on prices, using a mixture of tools and understanding of market climate.
  • Updating product cost lists, updating sales records and improving margins where possible.
  • Report any issues with supply and assist in providing solutions.
  • Regular reporting related to supplier contacts, product lists and outstanding orders.
  • Manage new supplier onboarding and relationships.
