About you
- Previous experience in Procurement or Buyer role with knowledge negotiating price with suppliers.
- Develop long lasting relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Be a clear communicator both externally, and internally with sales, finance, and accounts departments.
- Strong IT skills: MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid UK Driver's License.
What you'll do
- Negotiate with suppliers on value as well as price to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on controls for incoming deliveries.
- Conduct data analysis on prices, using a mixture of tools and understanding of market climate.
- Updating product cost lists, updating sales records and improving margins where possible.
- Report any issues with supply and assist in providing solutions.
- Regular reporting related to supplier contacts, product lists and outstanding orders.
- Manage new supplier onboarding and relationships.
