Senior BI Analyst

An exciting permanent opportunity is available for a Senior BI Analyst to join a growing team in Lisburn, NI. As a senior member of the IT Business Intelligence (BI) team, you will be responsible for BI reporting across the entire business, including ETL and data warehousing to dashboard reporting.

The ideal candidate should possess essential skills in SQL and ETL, as well as experience in Power BI, and desirable knowledge in Azure Data Factory, GitHub, Oracle Database (RMAN, PLSQL, SQLPLUS), Data Lakes, Machine Learning, Python, and Board.

Natural leadership skills, dedication to teamwork, and innovative problem-solving abilities are also necessary qualities.

As the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work closely with the existing BI and wider IT team to lead BI projects, have a passion for technology and data, suggest ways to improve BI solutions, adhere to data best practices, and implement new BI solutions. You will also ensure training and documentation requirements are fulfilled, adhere to ISO27001 standards and PMO agreed processes, and maintain and review backup procedures and test data recovery for data warehouses.

Furthermore, you will identify opportunities to improve the business through emerging BI technologies, support process representatives to identify innovative IT solutions, and have a working knowledge of key methods used within the function, such as Oracle, SQL Server, ETL, Board, and PowerBI. Additionally, you will provide helpdesk and secondary support for all systems within your remit, facilitate the development of training materials, and assist with disaster recovery planning.
