Client

A global IT business with their finance team based in Belfast are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Professional to join their team on a fixed term contract role. This role will initially be recruited on a 9 - 12 month basis to cover maternity. The business are currently in an aggressive growth phase and this could be an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a business who operate on an international scale.

This is an opportunity to join a business who can offer the chance to work with international customers and colleagues, along with providing excellent internal training opportunities. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will responsible for sales invoicing and dealing with customer queries by email and phone.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience working in a Finance role and are available at short notice:

  • Sales Ledger experience
  • Reconciliation experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience of using a computerised accounting system

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant you will:

  • Raise customer invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Checking and approval of employee expenses
  • Handling customer queries
